Cassie Cope is an 18 year old actress, singer and dancer who has worked extensively in the Washington, D.C., market in both professional and community theater productions. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Cassie now lives with her family in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
In May of this year, Cassie graduated high school. During the 2018/19 academic year, she will be performing in shows in the D.C. area. This winter, Cassie will begin applying and auditioning for B.F.A. musical theater programs, with the hopes of starting in the Fall of 2019.
Hard-working and passionate about her craft, Cassie intends to pursue theater in college and as her career. She strives to balance training, schooling, and performance opportunities. She is also an avid theater-goer in New York, Washington, and occasionally London.
Cassie is currently understudying the roles of Little Sal and Little Bear in Adventure Theatre's world premiere musical Blueberries for Sal, based on the famed book by Robert McCloskey.
Cassie had the most incredible 2 weeks at Signature Theatre's Overtures Institute! Teaching artists included: Matthew Gardiner, Tracy Lynn Olivera, Gregory Wooddell, Michael Arden and Judy Kuhn, to name a few. She also performed at Signature Theatre's Annual Open House in a flash mob, and a condensed version of the Overtures Showcase.
