Cassie Cope is a 17 year old actress, singer and dancer who has worked extensively in the Washington, D.C., market in both professional and community theater productions. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Cassie now lives with her family in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
Her first show was ‘Mulan Jr.’ at the age of 9, and her first professional show was a touring production of ‘The King and I’ at Wolf Trap’s Filene Center. Cassie attends school online while training year-round in acting, singing, and dance as a member of the pre-professional company of Adventure Theatre, headed by artistic director Michael Bobbitt.
Hard-working and passionate about her craft, Cassie intends to pursue theater in college and as her career. She strives to balance training, schooling, and performance opportunities. She is also an avid theater-goer in New York, Washington, and occasionally London.
Cassie just finished her run as Mary Phagan in
Keegan Theatre's production of
Jason Robert Brown's PARADE,
which ran from March 11-April 15, 2017.
