Meet Cassie!
Cassie Cope is a 23 year old actress, singer and dancer who has worked extensively in the Washington, D.C., market in both professional and community theater productions. Currently a senior BFA Musical Theater major at Ohio University, her class of 2023 is the inaugural cohort of the musical theater program at the University. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Cassie lives with her family in the Washington, D.C. metro area and is excited to return post graduation. In her time off the stage Cassie can be found at the gym, cuddling her precious baby cat and watching 2000's reality tv.

In March Cassie will be playing the role of Sue Snell in Carrie: The Musical at Tantrum Theatre in Athens, OH! This will be Cassie's final production at Ohio University, as Tantrum Theater works in collaboration with the School of Theater. |

In the Past...
In Spring of 2022, Cassie served as dance captain and a member of the ensemble in the first post-Broadway US production of Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812 with Tantrum Theater in Athens, OH. The show's composer Dave Malloy is an alum of Ohio University, and made the trip to Ohio to see the closing performance!
